High shaving

Took awhile to set up scaffolding but now starting the top of the clap boards.

Bad news is shingles look as bad up close. Once green on shingles too.

Good news is the shaver works great on the shingles, no nails to set, but I do not want to work that high.

WOW that's allot of dust!

A slow week but for a 10-32 5/8 cap screw

I lost one of the screws holding the carbide cutters last Sunday in the ivy.

I head to Menards, arriving about 10 till 8. I check the size of the screw 12-24, they have no 12-24 screws of any size. Monday, head back to town as I forget to order before 6pm from McMaster. Check, Rural king, Lowes, no 12-24 screws of any kind, now recheck thread size, 10-32, ok but Lowes has no 10-32 cap screws, only 10-24. Back to Menards, the have a couple 10-32 5/8 cap screws, got some in stainless to ensure I will not run out again, a long with lock washers (I found the lock washer dropped in the ivy)

Rain Tuesday, meeting Wednesday, Thursday, dinner out with interns and MTV crew Friday.

Finally get back at it Sunday morning, got a lot done, the scaffolding is really worth it. I will bolt some D rings to the house and strap the scaffolding to fm the wall with ratchet straps when I stack the units. It is really nice to be able to walk back and forth when working.

Maggie been board

Maggie has felt slighted as I work on the house but is ready to play as soon as I come in the yard.
