Folding scaffold
This weekend I constructed a folding 5' scaffold so I can work on the ceiling of the bathroom and other areas. I constructed it out of 3/4" plywood and 2by4's. It folds up - see lower image. I still need to add folding locking braces.
The bench is 18" wide, 5' long and sits 18" off the ground My main goal was to make it very sturdy - it will easily hold my weight plus materials. My idea for this was to make it solid enough so I don't need to worry about moving around while working on the platform. The only problem is that it weighs a good 30-40 pounds.
