I had Grizzy shaved for the summer shedding season. Yes it is only April but we had some 80 degree days in March and he started to shed. I was quite surprised when I picked him up and I had a white dog. His coat is so thick that I do not need to worry about putting sunscreen - before I was warned when Daisy was shaved.

He doesn't seem to miss the hair and the groomer said he really enjoyed the process - except for trimming around his more sensitive areas.
